  • Establishes own milestones deadlines andteam objectives and delegate responsibility to ensure projects arecompleted in a timely and costeffectiveway.
  • Liaises with contractors / suppliers andother third parties involved in projects to ensure both the clientsand Lanpros interests area safeguarded
  • Maydirect and monitor technical aspect of specific segment of majorproject or overseeing of smallerprojects.
  • Preparing and submitting planningapplications appeals and preapplicationenquiries
  • Conducting research and undertakingcomprehensive planning appraisals to establish the developmentpotential of sites.
  • Writing high qualityreports with clear recommendations.
  • Provisionof guidance to engineers/architects on the production of drawingsand supplemental planning information in relation to planningsubmissions
  • Preparation of fee proposals togenerate new business.
  • Review of Local PlanningAuthority (LPA) Local Plans and their stage ofproduction.
  • Managing community engagementcommittee meetings and publicexaminations.
  • Communicating with allstakeholders involved in the planning process and negotiatingpositive outcomes for theclient.


Qualifications& Experience

  • AnRTPI accredited degree or Masters in a relateddiscipline
  • Preferably a chartered member of theRoyal Town Planning Institute or be working towardsit.
  • Ideally at least two years postqualification experience in a relevantrole.
  • Have spent at least two years working inthe planning industry in either the public or privatesectors.
