What Airband need from you? Self-motivated, efficient, team player, multitasker, flexible mindset are all crucial. 
As an Airband Infrastructure Engineer you may come from a background including Network commissioning Engineer, Telecoms Rigger, Telecoms Engineer, Minimum of 12 months IP Networking experience & a minimum of 12 months Wireless or WIFI Telecoms experience.

More about the Position: Do you work with a high degree of flexibility, thrive on working in an agile environment with the ability to offer a responsive, customer focused service across network solutions? are you skilled in IP Networking & Wireless or WIFI Telecoms?

  • As and Airband Infrastructure Engineer you will be predominately field based covering a region including West Midlands, Shropshire, Central & North  Wales [as far north as Rhyl] as far south as Swansea and Oxford.
  • Reporting to our Technical Support Manager you will be responsible for ensuring our wireless infrastructure and fibre cabinet equipment within your area are fully maintained and operating at full potential.
  • The role will also include working at heights up to 50 meters, maintaining and installing wireless equipment on masts, towers & building structures. 
  • Working independently as well as operating within a dedicated Team. You will have an understanding of Networking IP & Wireless fundamentals,

Desirable Skills & experience to do the role: Static & Mobile Boom 1B & 3B, CSS Worksafe, First Aid at work, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Street Works (Unit 2 01 SLG), Tower Climber Medical, Tower climber & Rescue, Radio Frequency Awareness, Roof Top Safety & Access, ACDC Awareness
