Pastry Chef

C&NRecruitment are currently recruiting for an independentawardwinning restaurant looking for people to their team and helpbuild on the success they have had since opening They are anambitious bunch who are hardworking and passionate about what theydo consistently striving towards perfection.

Weare looking for a passionate driven Pastry Chef who is looking togrow within their kitchen team.

Our clients aimis to create a special experience for customers that pulls on thetraditions of a classic British Public House whilst putting acontemporary twist on quality seasonal food and drink. In the last36 months they have made a huge investment in refurbishments staffsuppliers and equipment. We are working towards accolades andbuilding our reputation throughout the county.

JobResponsibilities:

Kitchen Operations:Overseeing daytoday kitchen operations. Preparing cooking andpresenting dishes along with the general running of the pastrysection within the kitchen.

StaffManagement: Lead and mentor demi chefs providingguidance and support fostering a positive and collaborative workenvironment.

FoodPreparation: Ensure all food is prepared to thehighest quality standards following recipes and presentationguidelines.

MenuPlanning: Collaborating with the Head Chef in menuplanning development and considering seasonal ingredients customerpreferences and cost control.

Inventory & Cost Management:Monitoring stock levels ordering supplies andmanaging portion and waste control to maintain margins andbudgets.

Health andSafety: Maintain strict adherence to culinarystandards health and safety regulations and cleanliness for a safework environment.

We are looking for:

A professional who is energetic positive and punctual withan excellent eye for detail. Driven by delivering the highestlevels of service to our guests

Passionate aboutcooking and working with the best UK suppliers and seasonalingredients

Able to work effectively as part ofa team and build rapport with our guests and the team

Desire to continuously learn and improve both knowledgeand skills
