Product Specialist

An exciting and varied opportunity has arisen for a Product Specialist to join a young, design-focused company at a key stage in its growth. Working in partnership with a leading European manufacturer, this role will bring world-class solar shading solutions to the UK market.

As the first UK-based representative of this innovative product range, the successful candidate will work with top design and construction firms to build brand awareness, convert leads, and oversee project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Design:

  • Respond to enquiries with detailed product knowledge.
  • Carry out site surveys and design bespoke solutions using SolidWorks or similar software.
  • Produce and manage production drawings, approvals, and oversee end-to-end project delivery.

Brand Awareness and Marketing:

  • Organise trade shows and sales events.
  • Collaborate on marketing materials and deliver CPD presentations to clients.
  • Manage professional social media content.

Customer Care and Project Management:

  • Oversee maintenance agreements and service schedules.
  • Manage purchasing and cost controls for projects.

About You:

We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about innovation and quality.

  • A background in building product sales within the construction industry is desirable.
  • Experience with solar shading systems is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar) and technical drawing is desirable.
  • A natural relationship builder who is comfortable selling, pricing, negotiating and designing
  • Strong project management skills, including managing client expectations, contractors, and budgets.
  • A keen eye for design to deliver bespoke solutions to residential and commercial clients.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car are required.
