Job title: Product Specialist – UK Market Launch


Take the lead in a unique opportunity to shape the future of solar shading systems in the UK. Our client, an internationally respected manufacturer of innovative shading solutions, is seeking a versatile and driven Product Specialist to spearhead their debut in the UK market.


What You’ll Do:

As the first hire for the UK team, you’ll have a hands-on role in all aspects of the business, from client engagement to technical design and project execution. You’ll bring a combination of creativity, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills to:


Engage Clients: Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to provide tailored product solutions. Your technical expertise and design acumen will help you deliver compelling presentations and conduct site surveys that inspire confidence.

Manage Projects: Oversee the end-to-end process, from creating production drawings using SolidWorks to managing installations and keeping costs under control.

Build the Brand: Represent the product at trade shows and events, support marketing efforts, and grow awareness within the design and construction industries.

Project Management: Manage installation schedules and customer care to keep clients delighted long after the project is complete.


About You:

You’re an all-rounder who thrives in fast-paced environments and relishes the challenge of bringing a product to market. Ideally, you’ll have experience in the construction industry would be great but not essential and skills in:


  • A driven, ambitious and results-oriented individual who can work well at pace within a small team.
  • Have a background in building product awareness ideally in the construction industry.
  • Ability to use design skills to sell products to residential & commercial clients
  • Proficiency in project management, including managing client expectations, contractors, suppliers and budgets effectively
  • Experience with technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred, but not essential)
  • Flexibility is key; you’ll be based near Ampthill, MK45 with regular UK & International travel. A full, driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.

Salary: Circa £40,000 + bonuses
