JOB PURPOSESUMMARY: To provide efficient and effective administrative support to theAdministration Manager, Management and the rest of the Ridgeway Team.

To take ownership of relevant tasks and projects to ensure they arecompleted to a high level of quality in a timely manner.

To be aware of and follow patient confidentiality and other practiceprotocols at all times.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:

Scanning/filing patient information and documentsin electronic and paper records

Dealing with telephone queries/requests frompatients, and acting as liaison with clinical staff as necessary

Summarising patient notes

Providing administrative support for clinicalreferrals

Monitoring and coordinating practice email accounts

Assisting the practice team in achieving agreedtargets and goals

Maintaining patient electronic medical record andaccessing information when required

Perform searches and audits when required

Photocopying

Dealing with incoming and outgoing post/faxes

Effective communication with other team andpractice staff members

Effectively manage own time, workload and resources

Any other duties as required by the management andPartners

PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

The post-holder will participate in any relevanttraining programmes implemented by the practice as part of this employment:

Participation in an annual individual performancereview
