Our growing teamof volunteers all contribute significantly to the impact that wehave as a charity on our direct beneficiaries regardless of thedepartment that they work in of the level of time that they areable to commit.Our servicesprimarilyoffer a peersupport network to young people right across the UKallowing them to access a peer mentor who is of a similar age tothem and somebody that they feel more comfortable speakingwith.

If successful you will be joining a growingteam of diverse but likeminded individuals collaborating toincrease the reach of the Charity and improve support provisionsavailable to young people.All of our volunteers and employees areremote workersbut that doesnt stop uskeeping in touch and maintaining a strong positive culture amongstour whole team.

About therole

This is an excitingopportunity for an individual to join the Executive Leadership Teamofour charity and contribute to our aim of supporting youth tofulfil their best potential.

The Youth ServicesDirectorholds the overall responsibility of all of the operationalYouth Services activitiesof Teenage Helpline. Their role is todrive all service elements to a high level whilst holding the teamto account for their actions. This role leads the heart of theCharity ensuring that our direct beneficiaries (young people) getthe support that they need when they needit.

Responsibilities

  • Developmaintain and execute our Youth Services Strategy taking intoaccount various different needs of those young people who arereaching out to the Charity forsupport.
  • Partner with all other members oftheExecutive Leadership Team to ensure that the Youth ServicesDepartment is getting the support it needs to deliver the rightimpact to theCharitys beneficiaries.
  • Reviewexisting YouthServices practices assess their effectiveness andimplement changes that improves the overall success of alloperational elements of the Charity.
  • Recruitdesign and lead a team of YouthServices volunteers across variousareas ensuring that they have the right coaching and guidance tosucceed. This involves ensuring that the structure of the YouthServices team remains appropriate as the Charitygrows.

Skills

  • 5years experience required at a leadership or strategic level withspecific experience in operational leadershipdesired.
  • Exceptional leadership business andinterpersonal proficiency.
  • Be able to setbusiness targets timelines plans and financialtargets.
  • Be able to develop key Youth Servicesstrategies and build a team to ensure delivery against commitmentsto the Charity.
  • Prior thriving managerialexperience.
  • Demonstrate clear ability toinspire and motivate others toachieve.
  • Excellent computer and technologyskills.
  • Demonstrate sound communication andpresentation skills.
