We have an opportunity for a Anaesthetics Practitioner to join their team of staff in the Theatre department at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital on the bank.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

Duties and responsibilities:

You will be required to provide exemplary patient care carrying out, anaesthetic duties in a theatre setting.  Supporting in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload  Promoting best practise and contributing towards quality improvements

Who we're looking for:

You must be a qualified Nurse or ODP with experience in anaesthetics You hold a valid NMC or HCPC pin with no conditions or restrictions Be able to build and hold relationships with consultants and staff of the department Excellent communication skills
