Teaching Personnel are supporting the appointment of a TA in a Primary School in Preston.

The main purpose of the Job is to provide a high-quality education service and to support children on a 1:1 basis. To help children engage with their learning and develop a better understanding of the curriculum.    

Essential:

  • Experience of work within an education setting.
  • Experience of planning, delivering, and teaching interventions.
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • Willingness to work towards further qualifications as required.

Desirable:

  • Experience of work with autistic spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviour

The school is a an ‘OUTSTANDING’ school with classes from EYFS – Year 6. The school offers support for children with autism, learning disabilities and/or complex needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
