Senior Electronics Engineer - Cyber Security Integration

Newton Colmore is working with a defence and security company in Cambridge, and we are helping them find a senior electronics engineer for their R&D team.

This is a unique role that will incorporate hands-on hardware development with cyber security technology across hardware, software and infrastructure. Vulnerabilities at the intersection of these points can result in confidential information being stolen, and malicious software being installed. This is why the company need an electronics specialist to help with design and development of highly complex products.

You will have responsibility for the full design lifecycle, from initial eureka moment through to readying the product for deployment. You will be joining a team of world class engineers and scientists and for this role, you will require the highest level of security clearance.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electronics hardware, and software architecture, and cyber security. Any experience with sensors would be advantageous to your application. This experience will stem from an electronics degree and you will need to have knowledge of physics and mathematics.
