Senior Electronics Engineer - Analogue/Power

Location: Permanent
Hours: 8am until 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £80,000 to £85,000

Polytec Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and development of analogue and power electronic systems.

  • Requirements analysis and understanding, including liaison with stakeholders
  • Technical design and specification of digital and analogue circuitry
  • Subsystem design and implementation
  • Integration with RF, Audio and MMI subsystems
  • Component specification and sourcing
  • Design, integration and test documentation
  • Definition, implementation and supervision of PCB layout rules and constraints
  • Resolution of design and integration issues
  • Interaction with the SW team at device driver level (especially during bring-up phases)
  • Type approval support
  • Production technical support
  • Technical support to end customers
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience leading and owning the design of electronic systems
  • Strong background in electronics design from initial concept, specification through to software and systems integration, test, and manufacture
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills along with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers
  • Ability to work in a small, focused team against tight deadlines
  • Willingness to continually learn
