Here at Alver Vets in Gosport we are looking to welcome a Small Animal Vet to our team. As a team we believe in working collaboratively and strive to make sure everyone has the support they need to suceed. Our Nurses are one of our biggest assets, the team is highly efficient and knowledgeable. Are 9 strong Vet team has multiple certificate holders we also have support from a visiting orthopaedic and imaging advanced practitioner, and weekly ophthalmology clinic with a certificate holder. The practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, dental x-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, in-house lab with dedicated lab technician.

For this role we can also offer a Senior Veterinary Surgeon position if that is desired. Your role will be a mixture of consults and surgery. We have 15 minute consults in 1.5-2 hour blocks, with ring-fenced on-the-day appointments and regular gaps provided, including 30 minutes paid ‘wrapping up' time after the last appointment. We have a high focus on work-life balance so we work on a 4 day week with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota with a day back in lieu the following week, no OOH, TOIL system for the rare times we get caught late.

For this role you will need to be a qualified Vet and able to register with the RCVS
