**About Us**:
Jollyes - The Pet People are an award-winning pet retailer recognised by the Pet Industry Federation, offering Community Pet Clinics and Grooming services at selected locations in addition to a first-opinion veterinary practice located within our Gosport site. Due to continued growth, this small animal practice now needs a passionate individual to join our welcoming team as a Veterinary Receptionist. We offer a supportive and positive work environment where you can make a real difference to the lives of animals and their owners.

**About You**:

- You are polite, friendly, and have a genuine interest in animal welfare.
- Experience in a veterinary practice is a plus, but excellent customer service skills and some animal handling experience are desirable.
- Happy to assist the vet with needles if required
- You are a team player with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

**The Role - Vet Receptionist**:

- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival.
- Manage the appointment book and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding to clients.
- Promote responsible pet ownership by ensuring all vaccinations, worm and flea treatments are up to date.
- Take payments by cash and card, identifying potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with dispensing routine parasite control medication.
- Handle administrative tasks like filing, insurance forms, and reception stock ordering.
- Oversee the reception area independently during designated times after training.

**Hours**:

- 25 hours per week, spread evenly over 5 days (Monday - Friday).
- Option for additional hours to cover holidays.
