Equans is looking for a Project Supervisor to join our team in Stoke on a fixed term contract of 12 months. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.  

As the Project Supervisor you will be required To procure/tender and monitor all hand back works activity through to completion. To monitor sub-contractor performance with specific reference to the delivery of planned works including both lifecycle and additional works. Accountable to the Project Manager for the day-to-day supervision, monitoring and performance of sub-contractors.

What will you deliver? 

Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the lifecycle projects in order to meet the contractual agreement Assist in the preparation of commercial sub-contracts Oversee all contract activities to ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements Take ownership of the clients needs and pursue effective communications with the customer in order to build a stable relationship Operate Equans QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems through to satisfactory conclusion

Who are we looking for? 

NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications preferred Professional qualifications, or working towards, MBIFM/CMI or similar Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of Customer Service. Previous FM experience within a PFI environment would be an advantage Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment Demonstrable experience in Project management, formal qualifications would be preferable Competent in use of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel to produce accurate and well-presented text, data and pictorial reports

This role includes an enhanced DBS check with barred lists therefore ability to pass is essential.
