Beechwood Ward is a physical health ward basedat the Evington Centre. The ward has 24 female beds and is nurse led which willgive you high levels of autonomy and satisfaction in delivering exceptionalcare to patients with sub-acute needs, supporting rehabilitation, undertakingcomplex discharge planning and improving patient independence and quality oflife. Our patient cohort is increasingly complex due to the need to facilitatetransfer from acute trusts as soon as individuals are medically fit fordischarge and to prevent admission from home to the secondary care sector.

Main duties of the job
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluatingpatient care in a nurse led environment.
Assisting with and contributing to the managementand organisation of the ward.
Delivery of high-quality care.
Participating in education, development andsupervision of other staff members and students.
Working collaboratively and co-operatively withothers to meet the needs of clients/service users and their families.
