About the Role: As a Systems Engineer, you will be a key member of multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and software designs align with customer requirements. You'll navigate complex systems and conflicting needs with precision and take on significant responsibility for managing project risks, costs, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing procurement specifications for sub-systems and components.
  • Creating engineering management plans, including safety and risk management.
  • Capturing and managing system requirements.
  • Performing system modelling.
  • Collecting verification evidence for system requirements.
  • Formulating environmental qualification plans.
  • Drafting test specifications and leading design reviews.
  • Designing and defining systems architecture both functionally and physically.

Skills &; Experience Required:

  • Engineering Degree.
  • 2+ years of systems engineering experience.
  • Proficient in the use of requirements management tools (DOORS, Visure, or R4J).
  • Experience in work package management using JIRA.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Highly organised and methodical with a strong attention to detail.
  • Confident and professional in customer interactions.
