This role will involve working in our modern offices in Halifax alongside a skilled and friendly team to help determine clinical suitability for neurodevelopmental assessments, and contribute to service development. You will join us on a permanent contract on a competitive salary.

Job responsibilities

What you will be doing as our Neurodevelopmental Clinical Navigator

The primary purpose of the role is to lead on the decision making process to determine clinical suitability of children and young people for autism and/or ADHD assessments. This role also involves overseeing the process of communicating referral outcomes to families.

The post will involve supporting other staff to help develop their skills and experience in supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.

You will work closely with colleagues in the neurodevelopmental service at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, along with other partners and stakeholders. Youll play a key role in ensuring that children, young people and families experience high quality, safe and evidence-based care as they move through the system.

There will be opportunity to help shape service development and transformation, including digital innovations.

The role would suit qualified professionals from a range of backgrounds including a nurse, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist or other allied health professional.
