We are a small, friendly riding school looking for an assistant manager who will approach the role with a positive can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role/setting.

The successful candidate will assist and support the yard manager in the daily running of the yard, carrying out general yard duties as required, dealing with clients over the phone and in person, handling bookings and enquiries, escorting rides and teaching arena lessons when needed. This is an exciting opportunity to work with horses at a small but busy yard in the centre of London, having the best of both worlds

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced working with horses and working in management.
  • Taking sole charge of yard when needed.
  • An experienced rider, able to lead two horses whilst mounted.
  • Qualified with BHS stages or equivalent – this is preferred but not essential.
  • Able and willing to carry out all yard duties (mucking out, grooming etc).
  • Confident teaching adults and children, of varying abilities.
  • Friendly with customers and have a clear telephone manner.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Must weigh under 75kg.

Salary dependent on experience.
