Are you a BSE accredited Echo based Physiologist? Do you enjoy mentoring junior members of staff? Would you like to expand your skills into the Cath Lab?
KIMS Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Echo-based Physiologist to join our Outpatient Cardiology team as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist. You will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary Cardiology team, liaising with Consultant Cardiologists in the provision of a full range of outpatient non-invasive cardiac investigations. After the relevant training you will also use your skills to support cardiology consultants in the Cath Lab.
Your working hours will be Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm, 10am - 6pm on a rota basis.
Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist you will:
Carry out a full range of outpatient Cardiac Investigations including ECG, Stress Tests, Echocardiograms. Rotate between the Outpatient Cardiology and Interventional Cardiac Service within the Cath lab to ensure all service needs are met. Support the cardiorespiratory lead in managing the day to day delivery of services in the cardiorespiratory department. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols within the cardio-respiratory department. Ensure that own professional development is maintained and enhanced
