Contract: Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm, 10am - 4pm rotational.

Location: Maidstone

Job Summary:
This Private hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Echo-based Physiologist to join our Cardiology team as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist. This role is ideally suited to an experienced BSE accredited Cardiac Physiologist who has a desire to move into the Interventional Suite.

As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary Cardiology team, liaising with Consultant Cardiologists in the provision of a full range of outpatient cardiac investigations. You will also use your skills to support cardiology consultants in our Cath Lab.

Role Responsibilities include:

- **carrying out a full range of outpatient Cardiac Investigations including ECG, Stress Tests, Echocardiograms.**:

- **Rotating between the Cardiology Outpatients and Cardiac Interventional Suite Service within the Cath lab ensure all service needs are met**:

- **Developing and implementing policies and procedures/protocols within the cardiorespiratory department**:

- **Assisting with the day-to-day revenue recapture and cost control process**:

- **Establishing a robust inpatient / outpatient diagnostic service**

Person Specification:

- **Be a qualified Physiologist (BSc or equivalent)**:

- **Hold post qualification BSE accreditation.**:

- **Have post qualification experience working within Outpatient Cardiology Service.**:

- **Display excellent interpersonal skills, you will easily engage with colleagues and consultants to build effective working relationships.**:

- **Be easily able to build rapport with patients, displaying an enthusiastic and passionate attitude.**:

- **Experience working in a Cath Lab is desirable but not essential.**
