Barings Summer Internship Programme
Barings is seeking candidates for summer internship positions. After the internship, outstanding performers will be considered for a position in the Analyst Programme upon graduation.
Primary Responsibilities
9-week programme with potential to convert to full-time offer based on strong performance and the needs of the businessPlacements available across a variety of investment teams, including public and private fixed income, real estate and specialty equity marketsSupport underwriting efforts for debt/equity opportunities including:Market researchFinancial analysis and modellingRisk analysis and valuationDraft investment memosOngoing portfolio monitoring, analysis and valuationAssist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations and initiativesQualifications
Currently in penultimate year of university, on track for a 2.1 or higher, with a degree completion date of Spring 2026.Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Statistics and other relevant degrees preferredStrong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications and sourcing data from the internet and various publicationsExcellent writing and communications skills and ability to work as a member of a fast-paced, transaction orientated teamSelf-starter, must be organised and able to work independentlyAbility to prioritise work and multi-task responsibilitiesStrong attention to detailAbility to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlinesBarings is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; Minority/Female/Age/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Individual with Disability/Protected Veteran.
