ChampionX is seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist (Maternity Cover) located in Aberdeen. This role will manage the development and execution of regional marketing communications projects in support of the Eastern Hemisphere Marketing Communications team.

What You Will Do:

Develop and execute customer-facing, marketing communications campaigns and projects, including sales collateral, ads, tradeshow and conference planning, web content, videos, and more in partnership with regional marketing teams, sales, RD&E, and other internal stakeholders. Support the Eastern Hemisphere (EH) marketing communications strategy, working closely with the EH Marketing Communications Manager and other regional leaders. Work collaboratively with internal Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and Events teams, as well as third-party contractors and agencies, to develop and execute projects according to the regional strategy. Support planning and execution of our regional tradeshow and customer events, including facilitating the review and submission process for abstracts, external technical papers, and presentations. Proactively problem solve when challenges present themselves. Adhere to and help continuously improve workflow processes when needed. Champion the company brand identity across all developed materials and uphold brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects.

Minimum Qualifications: (required)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and/or; 4 years of experience in a communications role Excellent project management and organizational skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Ability to quickly build trust and strong professional relationships. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SharePoint Online, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Workfront Prior experience in the oil and gas or specialty chemicals industries
