ChampionX is seeking a **Senior Marketing Communications Specialist (Maternity Cover)** located in Aberdeen. This role will manage the development and execution of regional marketing communications projects in support of the Eastern Hemisphere Marketing Communications team.

**What You Will Do**:

- Develop and execute customer-facing, marketing communications campaigns and projects, including sales collateral, ads, tradeshow and conference planning, web content, videos, and more in partnership with regional marketing teams, sales, RD&E, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support the Eastern Hemisphere (EH) marketing communications strategy, working closely with the EH Marketing Communications Manager and other regional leaders.
- Work collaboratively with internal Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and Events teams, as well as third-party contractors and agencies, to develop and execute projects according to the regional strategy.
- Support planning and execution of our regional tradeshow and customer events, including facilitating the review and submission process for abstracts, external technical papers, and presentations.
- Proactively problem solve when challenges present themselves.
- Adhere to and help continuously improve workflow processes when needed.
- Champion the company brand identity across all developed materials and uphold brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects.

**Minimum Qualifications**: (required)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and/or;
- 4 years of experience in a communications role
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to quickly build trust and strong professional relationships.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with SharePoint Online, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Workfront
- Prior experience in the oil and gas or specialty chemicals industries
