Roles and responsibilities

  • Analyzing performance, strengthening financial planning, and providing valuable strategic and financial insights.
  • Driving continuous performance improvement and financial management through budgeting, financial planning, forecasts, RGM, pricing, and internal control.
  • Playing an active role in the S&OP processes and meetings for the assigned tribe(s).
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) across the Group, such as sales & gross margin, brand contribution, squad contribution, opex, etc.
  • Performing monthly and quarterly performance analysis, generating comprehensive reports, action plans, and ensuring follow-up actions are taken to effectively manage the P&L.
  • Driving optimization and profitability for both new product developments and the existing portfolio.
  • Continuously implementing synergies within the country/region and enhancing ways of working to achieve ongoing improvement and sustainable long-term profitability.
  • Actively participating in the analysis of market data, including pricing.
  • Collaborating closely with accounting teams (CoE) during monthly closing, including preparing posting proposals for GtN and A&P accruals in the agreed format.
  • Serving as a superuser in BI-tools to efficiently analyze data and generate valuable insights.
  • Identifying and supporting continuous improvement opportunities within the finance and commercial functions, and assisting in the training of new employees.
  • Engaging in various ad hoc projects, business cases, and analysis to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

Competencies:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Controlling
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in international companies within the FMCG or Consumer Healthcare industry
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated strength in financial analysis and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to translate analysis into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in transforming complex and large amounts of data into valuable business information
  • Expertise in financial modeling, product calculation, and scenario analysis
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • A strong business acumen and results-driven mindset
  • Excellent skills in Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in BI-tools and other relevant digital tools
  • A keen focus on process improvement and achieving optimal results
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
