The hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9am -

hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the clinic administrator. There maybe on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependentupon factors such as workload and staffing levels:

a.Answeringincoming calls and dealing with callers requests appropriately

b.Registrationof new patients to the service

c.Bookappointments

d.Photocopydocumentation as required

e.Processe-mails appropriately

f.Processpost consultation GP letters

g.Processtasks from other team members

h.Inputdata into the patients healthcare records as necessary

i.CodingConsultations appropriately

j.Processreferrals using the electronic referral system (ERS)

k.ProcessRAS referrals, printing, registering and texting appointment information

l.Manageall administrative queries as necessary

m.Carryout system searches as requested

n.Completingspreadsheets accurately

o.Supportall clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested

p.Processall DNA letters in accordance with current protocol

Job Summary

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team of the AQP Services (Any Qualified Provider) @ Meanwood which include ENT, Audiology, Microsuction, Minor Surgery. Primary Responsibilities

The following are the core responsibilities of the medical administrator. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:

a. Answering incoming calls and dealing with callers requests appropriately

b. Registration of new patients to the service

c. Book appointments

d. Photocopy documentation as required

e. Process e-mails appropriately

f. Process post consultation GP letters

g. Process tasks from other team members

h. Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary

i. Coding Consultations appropriately

j. Process referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS)

k. Process RAS referrals, printing, registering and texting appointment information

l. Manage all administrative queries as necessary

m. Carry out system searches as requested

n. Completing spreadsheets accurately

o. Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested

p. Process all DNA letters in accordance with current protocol

Secondary Responsibilities

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the medical administrator may be requested to:

a. Partake in audit as directed by the audit lead

b. Produce meeting agendas and record the minutes of meetings

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Preferably educated to O Level / GCSE standard, but certainly with evidence of a sound education with English and Maths as minimum. Evidence of IT literacy.

Experience

Essential

Working in a customer service environment. Working with IT equipment. Experience of and success at communicating. Resilience. Experience of working with a team, and promoting team spirit.

Desirable

Working in a busy office environment.
