Main duties of the job

The post holder will be working with a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, Trust Doctors, Specialty Trainees, Core Trainees and Foundation Trainees. Each post has a generic clinical component in the relevant area.

To participate in the provision of care to patients admitted to the Neurosciences Wards. To assist in ward management including electronic discharges. To participate in the management of day to day care of stroke patients To assist in the undertaking of full clinical computerised audit within the department. This would be encouraged for desirable candidates. To provide on-call cover for emergencies

Full registration GMC MBBS or equivalent

Foundation competencies or equivalent for those with full GMC registration Appropriate skills & experience to demonstrate in the chosen specialty minimum equivalent to ST3. 3 years continuous post-qualification experience in the relevant specialty
