Aon is currently recruiting a (Senior) Cyber Actuary to join our team in London. The (Senior) Cyber Actuary will be responsible for elevating Aon's ability to deliver market-leading cyber actuarial and reinsurance analytics to a greater number of clients globally. You will work closely with the broking part of the cyber team as a key client-facing contributor to design, pitch for and deliver cyber reinsurance programs that meet client needs. You will also take a lead role in supporting the development of junior analytics colleagues in the team.

About the Role

Your impact as a (Senior) Cyber Actuary:

This role is a (senior) specialist position, which will elevate Aon's ability to deliver market-leading cyber analytics and reinsurance solutions to a greater number of clients globally. You will have the opportunity to provide analytics and collaborate with brokers to service some of the largest global (re)insurers, leading and start-up cyber insurance companies and work on innovative transactions that improve the profitability of cyber business and address the societal need to increase capital deployed for systemic cyber risk  As a (senior) member of our client-focussed team, you will play a key role in leading and delivering our capabilities, developing and presenting reinsurance solutions and analytics to clients, working alongside brokers as a key part of the team negotiating with clients and reinsurers You will bring your skills and experience in understanding loss and performance drivers for cyber insurance to take a lead role in developing Aon’s “non-cat” analytics offering for clients. You will use your understanding of how underwriting companies think, in order to develop analytics that bring them value You will support our junior analysts towards being able to deliver analytics independently, e.g. developing their skills on reinsurance structuring analytics, and support our brokers to understand the analytics driving our proposed solutions for clients You will work with the broking and analytics team on innovation of new cyber risk products for better mitigating clients’ specific cyber portfolio risks You will develop and maintain strong links with our clients and reinsurers to ensure Aon is seen as a trusted advisor and partner on cyber reinsurance that meets their needs.

Actuarial acumen and qualifications, especially in a consulting or client / underwriter facing capacity Desire to create market-leading analytical and actuarial insights that our clients sorely need Passion for delivering value transparently to clients and finding commercial solutions to challenges involving significant uncertainty Able to work both independently and in a team environment to ensure our junior team members develop and enjoy working for Aon Accomplished presentation, communication and content creation skills, and client acumen Passion for developing the cyber reinsurance market and the application of analytics Ability to innovate
