Mechanical Inspector

We are working closely alongside a LocalAuthority in Barnet to assist with theappointment of a Mechanical Inspectoron a 2month contract likely to beextended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV forimmediate consideration.
Rate ofPay: 23.48 30.75 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- The key responsibility of the MechanicalInspector will be to ensure all aspects of mechanical works carriedout on site by contractors to meet the exacting requirements of theproject technical brief specification and drawings and legislationrequirements.
- The Mechanical Inspector willmaintain detailed diaries and site notes on a dailybasis.
- The Mechanical Inspector shall establishand maintain good channels of communication with client officerscontractors residents colleagues andstakeholders.
- Undertake adequate siteinspection and monitoring on all assigned projects and covering forcolleagues from time to time asrequired.
- Assist with the preparation ofproject reports for Committees Area forums Working Parties ClientOrganisations Tenant Associations and external agencies. Provideeffective liaison and attend such meetings asrequired.
Qualifications:
- Higher National Certificate in buildingservices engineering or equivalent with practical experience.
- Possess excellent detailed technical knowledgeof mechanical installations gas installation works heat networksand communal heating systems and their repair andrefurbishment.

- You should have right towork in U.K
- This role requiresan enhanced DBS
