Are you a qualified & experienced Accountant with expertise in revenue accounting for long-term contracts or project accounting within a B2B environment ? If yes, you could join SHL's Revenue Control team as a Senior Management Accountant , where your knowledge of IFRS 15 standard and balance sheet reconciliation will be invaluable. This new role offers the chance to expand your UK-focused experience to encompass the EMEA and North America regions, alongside the leadership of a small team. What you will be doing:
Ensuring period end revenues are recorded and reported in compliance with SHLs policies, relevant accounting standards and other applicable regulations in line with published timetable. Ensuring all revenue related balance sheet reconciliations are prepared accurately and completely and signed off. Establishing and maintaining a strong financial control environment with appropriate processes and compliance for all revenue streams. Ownership of the end-to-end revenue recognition process and ensure compliance with IFRS#15. Direct and supervise the Revenue Management Accountant Support the group team in relevant aspects of the group and local audits to ensure timely audit completion and submission of financial statements.
What are we looking for from you:
Essential:
Qualified accountant with substantial revenue experience in a finance controllership team Multinational company (B2B) and solid knowledge of IFRS standards Preparation of revenue analysis reports and revenue balance sheet reconciliations
Desirable: Experience reviewing, documenting, implementing, and improving controls. Experience in long-term contract and/or project accounting role. Infor system experience
