Job Description

Senior Nurse - RGN/RMN

The position is for 36 hours per week on days, including alternate weekends.

£21 per hour plus paid breaks

** £2,000 welcome bonus **

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join our client's team at a Dementia Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with strong clinical skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to our residents.

Qualifications
  • RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of dementia care and nursing homes for the elderly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Current and valid UK NMC registration

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Ensure that care plans are followed and updated as necessary
  • Monitor resident's health and well-being, and report any changes to the appropriate medical and nursing staff
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to residents and their families
