Job Title : Global Controller /Global Director of Accounting
Location : Boston MAREMOTE
Type : Fulltime direct hire
Reporting directly to the Vice President ofFinance the Global Controller / Global Director of Accounting is akey member of the finance and investment teams. The candidate willpartner with executives and external consultants to identify andimplement tax and accounting strategies across multinationaloperations. The candidate will lead the daytoday complianceoperations with direct responsibility for all tax and accountingactivities.
TheJob:
  • Prepare anddistribute monthly financial statements in compliance withregulatory and contractual financial deadlines
  • Manage staff and external accounting and tax vendors toensure compliance across all entities products andcountries
  • Develop monitor and enforceappropriate accounting policies and company controls
  • Support all aspects of accounting process includingpayroll accounts payable accounts receivable and fixedassets
  • Prepare managerial reporting includingoperational KPIs
  • Support Finance and Businessteams in the preparation of budgets forecasts and related businessplans
  • Manage and monitor all accounts ledgersand reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAPstandards
  • Lead the implementation of financialERP system
  • Lead the crossborder consolidationof the financial data of the group entities
  • Perform adhoc financial analysis
Required Education andExperience:
  • Bachelorsdegree in the field of Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification
  • 8 years ofrelevant experience
  • Previous experiencemanaging general ledger accounting and monthly close
  • Experience with multientity management
  • Experience with transfer pricing
  • Experience with lease accounting and FX accounting aplus
  • Highly analytical and organized withexceptional attention to detail
  • Expertknowledge of Excel and ERP
