Hse Advisor

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with an international engineering business with its head office in Boston who are recruiting an experienced HSE Advisor to cover its UK operations.
The UK business turns over around £250 million per annum and the Boston site currently has around 200 employees. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a profitable business that supply sustainable products to retailers globally.
This role will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the health, safety and environment aspects of the Company's integrated management system. The post holder will also assist internally with the provision of health, safety and environment adviceand guidance.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the company
- Support the Company's HSE commitments in the highlighting and promoting best practice
- Contribute to achieving the Company's short and long-term sustainability goals through collaboration with projects teams and business stakeholders
- Assist in the management and control of outstanding non-conformances and investigations
- Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced
- Outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards
- Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented against the management system
- Complete, monitor and review records and internal audits findings ensuring compliance is maintained.
- Produce reports that suggest improvements
- Participate in the creation and delivery of health, safety and environmental training programs
- Maintain relevant safety and environmental control procedures in accordance with the Company's Integrated Management System
- Assist in the annual external audits
- Work alongside the operational teams to enable best practice is maintained and two-way communications are achieved
I'm keen to speak to HSE Advisor's with the following skillset:

- Experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH certificate
- Lean Qualification
- Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 ISO Standards
- Strong communication skills
- Holds full UK driving license
