Assist the Head of Business with financial support in order to drive operational performance. In addition, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the entire accounts function. A key aspect of the role is the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and their integration into the Company’s standard structures. You will maintain and develop controls to maximise returns and cash flow and utilise your financial and management experience to ensure the effective running of the dealership and the Company’s Guest Experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties (list not exhaustive)
Achieve accurate dealership accounts, within the specified time scale, in accordance with Company accounting and procedural policies. Provide such accounting support, as required, to your Head of Business to enable effective and rational management decisions concerning profitability, cash flow and return on investment to be taken. Provide as necessary accounting information and advice to departmental managers to assist them in effectively managing their department. Exercise adequate financial care and control so as to minimise the risk of defalcation, loss or misuse of dealership assets. Regularly review the controls which are operating throughout the dealership to ensure continued compliance. Ensure dealership payroll and pension information from Cambria is administered correctly. Ensure all taxes are correctly accounted for, and all necessary returns and payments are made within statutory deadlines if necessary. Assist the Head of Business to prepare weekly and monthly forecasts based on current and anticipated activity.Work Pattern
This is a full-time position: Monday - Friday

Qualifications / Training
AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent level of experience Full UK Driving Licence or equivalentExperience / Knowledge
Previous accounting experience, ideally within the motor industry Knowledge of Pinnacle - desirable. Previous team management experience and proven leadership skills Proven analytical skills and action planning experience Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills Excellent numerical, administrative and time management skillsThis job offer will be subject to a DBS Certificate Disclosure, and adverse financial background check.
