About the Role
As an Accounting and Financial Controller at John G MacKintosh, you will play a key part in the company's financial management. Your primary responsibility will be to support business financial management by drafting Management Accounts. This will involve journal postings, accruals, and prepayments activity.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of management accounting principles and be able to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications. The position is available in either our Edinburgh or Perth offices.

Key responsibilities include working with the Financial Controller to set budgets and forecasts, monitoring forward-looking finance, and supporting year-end audit and statutory returns. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll, credit control, sales invoicing, supplier payments, and financial operations.
