The bar is known for offering the world's largest Japanese Whisky Collection and prides itself on unique service standards and cocktail knowledge. With creativity and flair at the front of every cocktail & drink created, the Sexy Fish London team won the Best International Restaurant Bar at TOTC 2022 and have brought the same excellence to Manchester.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplishedReception Manager to lead our front-of-house team. As the Reception Manager,you will play a central role in overseeing the reception area, managingreservations, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Ifyou have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitmentto delivering exceptional service, we invite you to be a key influencer at ourfabulous restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reception area,ensuring high service standards.
- Manage and coordinate reservations, optimizing seatingarrangements and guest flow.
- Supervise and mentor reception staff, providing guidanceto maintain a positive work environment.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalismand prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with the management team to organize andexecute private events and functions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, andquality standards.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusiveatmosphere for both guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Reception Manager or in a similarfront-of-house role within the hospitality industry.
- Experience with either Open Table or Seven Rooms.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonalskills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactiveapproach to operational challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managemultiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and administrativetasks.
