RoleDescription


As a TLE(Traffic Law Enforcement) Business Unit Manager you will beresponsible for developing and maintaining business relationshipswith our client base including Safety Camera Units / Police / LocalAuthorities and National Highways. Reporting directly to the UKSales Director you ll support the wider Sales team in gaining anddeveloping new projects to deliver our client s intelligenttransportation solutions and road safety products tomarket.

Ademonstrable background in working in UK Road Safety providing anunderstanding in the methodology and practices utilised with thesector as well broad understanding of safety technology that isavailable

Anunderstanding of processes and connected stakeholders whendelivering road safetyprojects

Anexperienced Fieldbased Sales Account Manager with a professionalcollaborative approach to building and maintaining customerrelationships to understandneeds

Experience andtraining in resultsdriven valuebased project sales with effectiveconsultative communicationskills

Experience ofmanaging accounts and developing business with public sector bodiesin the ITSindustry

Candidates willbe required to successfully obtain securityclearance.

KeyResponsibilities


Meet and developrelationships with potential clients to develop road safety schemesfor the company s clientbase

Work effectivelywith relevant stakeholders to understand customer objectives anddevelop solutions to addressthese

Work alongsideProject Managers and Engineering resources to fulfil the designspecifications based on initial requirements from ourclients

Compilepresentations to deliver toclients

Develop quotesand price buildups for tender submissions working alongside the BidManagementteam

Take fullownership and accountability for order intake for your territorywithin the Road Safety / ITS and Law Enforcementsectors

Develop forecastand deliver a pipeline of orders through the application ofstrategic account planning prospecting and opportunityqualification capture planning bidding and closing solutionbasedsales

Write / reviewsuccessful proposal / bid responses aligning with company themesand key messages and solutionattributes

Work with thirdparty road safety organisations (trade bodies / associatedcompanies and consultancies) to promote the company s solutions andposition their commercial offering in line with customer and marketneeds

Represent thecompany at trade and industry events including providingpresentations

Maintain astrong understanding of the organisations technical productsservices andprocesses

Provideintelligence to the business regarding future technicalrequirements competitor analysis market trends and future areas ofgrowth oropportunity

Update andmaintain the sales database for monthlyreporting


ExperienceRequired


Demonstrableexperience in a dynamic TLE sales environment and / or degree inBusiness Management or a relevantfield

Understanding ofroad safety statistics artificial intelligence analytics videoanalytics ANPR object detection tracking andrecognition

Familiarity withtraffic safety regulations road infrastructure and transportationsystems

Workingknowledge of MS Officetools and CRMdatabases

Strongorganisational and time management skills with the ability tohandle multiple priorities and meetdeadlines

Strongcommunication skills both verbal andwritten
