Job Summary

Responsible for development and execution of human resource (HR) plans to support regional leadership for Europe, Middle East and Africa in achievement of business objectives. As program manager, coordinates availability of HR specialist resources needed for the implementation of these plans for assigned division. Using progressive and diverse HR experience, plays role as key HR advisor across multiple countries and leaders. Addresses complex and critical HR issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Actively supports HR for multiple countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
•Leads a team of HR Partners/Generalist for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
•Stands up new policies and procedures in new and existing countries to be compliant with local law and align to Black & Veatch's overarching programs.
•Develop and implement people focused strategies and goals to support regional growth.
•Actively participates in developing, executing, coordinating or communicating human resource plans in some or all of the following areas:
• Workforce size and skill mix planning
• Staffing
• Training and development
• Succession planning
• Work and organization design
• Performance management for organization and professionals
• Culture assessment and development
• Employee relations & coaching
• Compensation administration
• Leads process in interpreting and translating business strategy into human and organization initiatives.
• Identifies critical HR goals and success factors for the division; develops related actions needed.
• Cultivates a partnering relationship with division management and professionals, while maintaining an HR perspective. Establishes open and trusting relationship. Engages productively and proactively in business discussions. Provides input and advises management.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred

Extensive experience in progressive HR in one or more functional areas

HR Certification CIPD preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Broad basic knowledge of all functional areas in HR.

Strong understanding of HR programs, policies and procedures

Extensive understanding of employment law

Strong knowledge of division's industry and business operations.

Global perspective of common business practices

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Typical Office environment

Frequent travel required within region and occasional travel to World HQ
