About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing and Commercial manager. for Greater China and APAC area, responsible for leading our sales initiatives across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. This role is pivotal in expanding our footprint in the region, establishing strong relationships with transport operators, and driving the adoption of our technology solutions to enhance passenger experiences.

As a member of the team, your main responsibilities will be

• Develop and execute strategic marketing and commercial plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the Greater China and APAC region.
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with transport operators, stakeholders, and partners.
• Understand the specific needs of the transport sector in Greater China and APAC area and tailor our solutions to meet these requirements.
• Build relationships with clients, negotiate new business contracts, plan specifications, and prepare details of the requirements for projects.
• Discuss client’s requirements, carry out surveys or other market research.
• Compile and analyse sales figures, prepare proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Produce reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management.
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure our offerings are aligned with market needs and expectations.
• Lead negotiations, close agreements, and drive customer success post-sale.
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
• Keep abreast of new product launches, and market trends, and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Represent Transreport at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

About You

We expect you to:

• Proven sales and marketing experience in technology and/or the transportation sector, showcasing a consistent ability to surpass sales targets.
• A background in technical sales, equipped with the skills to clearly convey complex technological propositions.
• Strong command of Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, enabling effective communication with diverse client groups throughout Greater China and APAC area and seamless collaboration with our global team.
• Deep understanding of the business culture, market dynamics, and regulatory environment in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and APAC area, highlighting an understanding of regional nuances.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on negotiating and influencing decision-makers.
• Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset to identify market opportunities and challenges.
• Willingness to travel across the region for team meetings and global strategy sessions.
• A genuine enthusiasm for leveraging technology to foster societal benefits, with a special focus on enhancing accessibility and fairness in travel experiences.
