Job Title: Domestic Abuse Practitioner
Location: Carmarthen
Working Hours: 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: £12.22 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an exciting role as a Domestic Abuse Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to survivors of domestic abuse on their journey to safety and freedom. The role involves working with a team of passionate professionals to deliver a high standard of support to survivors of domestic abuse. Your role would consist of being office based within Carmarthen and organising housing options for clients whilst also offering emotional support. The perfect candidate would be able to manage a caseload and provide trauma informed approaches. 
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting clients to avoid crisis situations and rebuild their lives after domestic abuseWork with a team of professionals to deliver a high standard of supportMaintain accurate and up-to-date recordsAttend regular supervision and training sessionsParticipate in team meetings and case conferencesCarrying out appropriate assessments to understand the risks and needs of clients to enable supportRequirements:
Experience of working with survivors of domestic abuseKnowledge of the dynamics of domestic abuseExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to maintain accurate and up-to-date recordsGood knowledge of safeguarding Excellent IT skillsFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicleAble to work in a trauma informed way # 4521050
