Job Description

Registered Mental Health Nurse

Hourly Rate: Up to £21

37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our client's team and provide exceptional care for individuals with acute mental health conditions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advocating and supporting patients within a mental health setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
  • Demonstrated expertise in acute mental health nursing
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in high-stress situations
  • Strong grasp of evidence-based practice with a dedication to continuous learning and development
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care


Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and create tailored care plans
  • Administer medications and closely monitor for potential side effects
  • Offer therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Advocate for patients' rights and contribute to fostering a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Maintain precise and current documentation of patient care and progress
