Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and well-being.
- Education and Supervision: Provide education and supervision to junior staff members, peers, and other professionals to ensure high standards of care and practice.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and relevant clinical records, both written and computerized, to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
- Medication Management: Safely monitor, manage, and administer medication as required by Trust policy, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Infection Prevention and Control: Apply the principles of Infection Prevention and Control and comply with policy, procedure, and guidance to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have a strong background in mental health nursing. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
