Therole

Fugro is recruiting aLaboratory Technician to join their soils laboratory based inWallingford. The laboratory uses state of the art equipment toanalyse soil and rock samples from our ground investigationprojects around the UK. As a Laboratory Technician, your role willbe to perform laboratory tests using data logging equipment,recording data in handwritten format and entering it into bespokedata processing templates working alongside the laboratory team aswell as the wider Fugro staff and site staff including drillers,geotechnical engineers and project managers. The test data youcreate will then provide the basis for the design and modelling ofbuildings and infrastructure. There is also potentially opportunityto work on site, monitoring and testing in the field and assistinggeotechnical engineers on offshore drillingvessels.

Who We're LookingFor

GCSE English, Maths andScience Grades 1-4 or equivalent qualifications isessential.
