ROLE: Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste
You will use your knowledge of chemistry to asses incoming waste streams based on information provided by the sales team, ensure they are classified correctly and identify correct cost of disposal
Quoting clients
This role does not involve a great deal of physical chemistry and mainly draws upon applying your chemistry knowledge
EXPERIENCE: Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste
Experience working within the hazardous waste sector is essential. Just working on a site the handles some hazardous materials will not be considered.
You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable.
YOU WILL HAVE Degree in Chemistry or higher. Related Subjects e.g. Biology or Forensics will be considered where sufficient Chemistry modules were included.
Qualifications that would be advantageous:
WAMITAB COTC
IOSH of NEBOSH safety qualification or similar
