About the service

Our vibrant and dedicated 24-hour Housing Support team in Largs, Ayrshire, is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Practitioner to join us. This rewarding role involves providing personalised support to individuals in their own homes, creating an environment that promotes their well-being and independence.

At our Largs service, we believe in the power of teamwork. Our cohesive team works collaboratively to ensure the safety, well-being, and fulfillment of the individuals we support. As a Support Practitioner, you'll bring your energy and enthusiasm to help people achieve their goals and dreams, making each day a rewarding experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised support, including personal care, housework, medication administration, meal preparation, financial management, and companionship.
  • Assist individuals in their day-to-day lives while empowering them to pursue happiness and fulfilment, both within their homes and in the broader community.
  • Develop and nurture trusting relationships, which serve as the foundation for effective support.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to deliver top-quality care tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Advocate for independence and honor the uniqueness of each personal Support Plan.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of daily tasks and support provided.
