The role
At Dojo, we’re all about keeping the customer at the heart of what we do. We're looking for a customer-obsessed, results driven Director of Total Reward. Based in our London office, and reporting into the Chief People Officer, you will be a core member of the People and wider leadership group across Dojo. You will be a reward expert and enable our Payroll, Reward and Benefits. You will leverage your expertise to craft the vision and strategy for Total Reward as well as oversee payroll, globally.

Thoughtful and proactive leadership: be a role model with proven experience developing high-performing people/teams who can work autonomously and collaboratively across multiple cultures and countriesIn-depth expertise in core reward processes: Including equity, executive remuneration, salary review, international benchmarks, benefits, and incentive schemes. Experience working with a RemCo would be a massive plusExceptional analytical skills: Ability to draw and communicate insights from dataExcellent organisational skill: To deliver highly complex projects in expedited timeframesA practical ‘hands on’ approach to reward and happy to roll up your sleevesAttention to detail with quick execution: We need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strengthAn empathetic, people-first approachExceptional interpersonal communication skillsComfort with ambiguity and a fast paced environment: not all of our problems are defined, nor all our processes built out and things change quicklyChallenge to the status quo: you’re not just happy with average, you want to wow our people so they continue to think it’s a great place to workDojo from the get-go
First launch was back in 2009. So with over 15 years in the payments industry, we’ve got a story to tell.
Dojo is built to soothe customer and consumer pain points across the world for over 140,000 customers.
And today, there’s over 1,200 of us in multiple locations across the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.
Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the experience economy by creating the tools and tech that turns transactions into meaningful relationships.
We do that through sophisticated EPOS payments integrations, fast transactions, hospitality bookings, and a strong consumer restaurant app.
