Main duties of the job

What you'll be responsible for:

Maintaining accurate clinical observationsof patients; escalating concerns as appropriate To be aware of the safe policy andprocedures for using subcutaneous and intravenous devices and usage of enteralfeeding tubes To communicate effectively with patients,relatives and the healthcare team, while being mindful of possible barriers tounderstanding To have responsibility for the correctadministration and custody of medicines according to the Trust Policy

What you can add:

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

What you'll need:

A minimum of 6 months paid experience within an oncology ward environment within the last 3 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices

Minimum of 6-months experience working as a Registered Nurse in an NHS hospital setting in the past 2-years Previous experience working within Oncology IV Therapy Trained Be a Qualified Nurse with NMC Pin and no restrictions
