More about your role

You will lead the charge in implementing key Finance projects for the Group, ensuring they deliver effectively by adhering to core PFP PM governance standards. As the go-to person for project and change initiatives, you'll support internal and external stakeholders with your clear, dynamic communication. You'll develop and maintain project delivery plans, effectively managing resources and dependencies. In addition, you'll updates governance documentation, actively tackles risks, and issues, and keeps stakeholders in the loop. Coordinating and overseeing project teams, you'll ensure stellar service and project delivery, empowering colleagues to excel in their roles. Your project plans will be clear and inspiring, driving progresst. You'll be at the heart of continuous improvement within the Finance team by using the project methodologies of the Group's Centre of Excellence, the Transformation Office to support completion of a variety of Finance projects to time and quality standards

This role follows a hybrid working model based out of our Preston office, with two days per week spent in the office and the remaining three days working from home.

More About you

You must have a proven track record of leading and supporting the end-to-end lifecycle and successful delivery of large, business-critical change projects powered by cutting-edge technology solutions. Your strong leadership and management skills will shine as you navigate project, financial, change, and risk management with ease. You have the ability to quickly grasp complex situations and set clear priorities, objectives, and strategies. Your experience in managing and delivering Finance, IT, or technical projects in intricate environments sets you apart, along with your adeptness at managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, including third-party suppliers, vendors, and contractors. Your excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills enable you to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the business and key stakeholders. Ideally, you have experience working in blue-chip or large, complex organizations, a solid understanding of various project management methodologies, and experience working on Finance projects.
