Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship – Marsh Lane Day Nursery
The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Marsh Lane Day Nursery.
Established in 1995, Marsh Lane Day Nursery Ltd is set in a lovely and quiet location on Marsh Lane, We are easily accessible from either Ilchester Road or Coombe Street Lane and the nursery itself is located away from the road with a private car park for the parents to use.
The Nursery has three pleasant and secure outdoor areas, which have access to Yeovil Recreation Centre and is only a short walk to a local farm and country walks.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, changing and promoting independence Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming nursery Collaborate with nursery team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoorsRequirements;
You must be able to gain a clear DBS GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired but not essentialHours;
Marsh Lane Day Nursery is open from 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year round The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussedBenefits;
