Reports to: Workshop Site Supervisor

Location: Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance, Glasgow Prestwick Airport

•Supervise & organise manpower and planning.

•Organise and evaluate repairs.

•Allocation and prioritisation of tasks and management of technical jobs.

•Ordering & progressing spares.

•Ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures.

•Ensuring that company regulations and policies are enforced.

•Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times.

•Developing skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics.

•Assist with & carry out machining repairs.

•Any additional tasks allocated by management.

Requirements

•Previous experience of supervising/managing manpower essential.

•Ability and willingness to train non – skilled personnel.

•Ability to operate and program VMC’s (Hurco WinMax).

•Ability to use manual mill machines and lathes.

•AutoCAD and Fusion360 experience.

•Experienced and competent using inspection tooling.

•Experienced with interpreting engineering drawings.

•Experience with Microsoft office word & excel software.

•Experienced in Inspection and creation of work cards/work packs.

•Engineering background or relevant academic qualification is essential.

•Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

•Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

•Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment.
