**Post Title**:CNC Machine Setter Operator

Hourly Rate starting from £16.00 per hour depending on experience.

**Job Purpose**: Setting up and operation of CNC machining Centres within machine shop to produce parts in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Create machine programs for new and existing parts.
- Proving new programs meet drawing specifications
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Run first off part from program and carry out first off inspection.
- Dress parts produced, removing all burrs and sharp edges.
- Monitor tool wear and adjusting offsets to maintain tolerances through batch production.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.

KPI’s
- Meeting and satisfying Company quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.
- Meeting and satisfying Company HSE requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

**Health and Safety responsibilities**
- Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation.
- Comply with Company HSE policy and procedures at all times
- Lead by example and promote Company HSE policy and procedures.

**About you**
- Skilled machine setter with Mazak Mazatrol NC operation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Mazak & Doosan Machines preferred
- Knowledge of machine tooling.
- Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.

**Salary**: From £16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
